Duarte de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Baltazar de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escorpios F. C.'s Duarte de Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Duarte de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Matos in the 17th minute of play. Duarte de Barros came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Brahmaskol Sport Club's Slawomir Kalinowski. But to his dismay, Slawomir Kalinowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Slawomir Kalinowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Duarte de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Escorpios F. C.'s André Sarmento got a free kick in the 24th minute. Slawomir Kalinowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Baltazar de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte de Barros. Escorpios F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltazar de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slawomir Kalinowski in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte de Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Baltazar de Almeida notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Escorpios F. C.'s Duarte de Barros. Duarte de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the game, Brahmaskol Sport Club's Baltazar de Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar de Almeida in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte de Barros saved Escorpios F. C. from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Pedrão Coelho made the kick off in the second half. Escorpios F. C.'s Juninho das Neves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brahmaskol Sport Club. LeBron James hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Baltazar de Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Escorpios F. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tony de Brito was slow to take the kick. During this time Brahmaskol Sport Club's players had a chance to rest. Duarte de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Duarte de Barros came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Brahmaskol Sport Club's Baltazar de Almeida. But to his dismay, Baltazar de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9.
