Giovanni Custódio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clóvis Reis having to make a save. When Giovanni Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Custódio couldn't finish the play. Clóvis Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Custódio in the 21st minute of the match. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Bastos in the 25th minute of play. Dagoberto Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Costa in the 26th minute of the match. Kléberson Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dagoberto Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SE Tijolo 6 Furos's zone, Kléberson Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Veiga came out of the goal and Kléberson Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giovanni Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giovanni Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Reis having to interfere. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Leon Sport Club from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Giovanni Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Gláuber Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Sport Club the free kick. After 45 played minutes SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Vianna. After the first half Leon Sport Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Custódio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Leon Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Talavera to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Custódio in the 54th minute of the match. Giovanni Custódio might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giovanni Custódio ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Custódio in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clóvis Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of SE Tijolo 6 Furos booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Sport Club made a substitution. Jon Loarte replaced Giovanni Massa. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Raimundo Bittencourt was substituted for Juan Alvarenga. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's Kléberson Loureiro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute of the match SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a corner. Leon Sport Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Rosado ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Ian Bastos drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Daniel Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Sport Club made a substitution. Marcel Ramos replaced Kléberson Loureiro. Dagoberto Veiga was a little too slow when Jon Loarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 84th match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Pinho in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Ian Bastos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Bastos in the 94th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giovanni Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leon Sport Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Leon Sport Club.
