With a little luck, Santa Teresa's Natalio Betadur got control of the ball when Paulo José Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. GLocos do Cerrado FC's Marcelo Alagoano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vicente Senna in the 35 minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Natalio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Loyola in the 53rd minute of play. Elói de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Gay, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, GLocos do Cerrado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Gay came free, but Elói de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
