Vasco IB's Eriberto Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Vasco IB from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Vasco IB's goalkeeper Eriberto Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Coelho. 38 minutes into the game, Vasco IB's Dráuzio Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcos Čech kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Vasco IB got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Lima. In the 47th minute Josué Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Vasco IB's Marcos Čech got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Escorpios F. C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. André Sarmento hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Pedrão Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dagoberto Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Eriberto Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Coelho in the 95th minute of the match.
