With a left leg Natalio Betadur saved Santa Teresa from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matheus Gay in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Čech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Natalio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcos Čech came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Vasco IB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Čech couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Santa Teresa got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Senna. Hjalmar Browald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Eriberto Neiva made a huge save. In the 70th play minute Hjalmar Browald came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eriberto Neiva. 0-3. 75 minutes into the match, Matheus Gay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eriberto Neiva, 0-4. Vasco IB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
