Eliseu Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Mendonça having to interfere. Sydney Mendonça came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra. But to his dismay, Eliseu Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute of the match Natingui FC got a corner. GUARANI E.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo de Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. José Branco made a great header on Natingui FC's corner, it was just that GUARANI E.C.'s Sydney Mendonça managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, José Branco put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sydney Mendonça. Betão Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alisson Taffarel made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 34th minute of play forced GUARANI E.C.'s goalkeeper Sydney Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Anderson Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alisson Taffarel. Natingui FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anderson Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 42nd minute, Eliseu Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Natingui FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Natingui FC's Felippe Alcântara got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Sydney Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 53rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Natingui FC got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Salgado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anderson Seco in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alisson Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alisson Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Eliseu Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Natingui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Seco came free, but Alisson Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
