Eliseu Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Betão Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alisson Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Cavalcante in the 18th minute of the match. Hernani Vinhas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eliseu Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseu Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Semail Çelikyay got free with Alisson Taffarel in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Eliseu Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Juninho Senna fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cujuim's protests and gave Juninho Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Juninho Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Cujuim's Betão Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Branco in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 41st minute of play forced Cujuim's goalkeeper Betão Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cujuim booed when Natingui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball.
