S.E.R Corujão's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Vicente do Vale scored to the left of an out of position Nando Fernandes, making the score, 2-0. S.E.R Corujão's Nando Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R Corujão from getting a goal against them. Franklin Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Franklin Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hudson Félix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. At last the ball reached Vitório Machado at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Trinca Ferro. 2-1. Glauco Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Nando Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinca Ferro. In the 44th match minute, S.E.R Corujão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Severo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Trinca Ferro's Régis Sanches got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Toscano made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sílvio Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hudson Félix. That made the score 2-2 in the 55 minute of play. Hudson Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Severo in the 58th minute of the match. When Raí Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinca Ferro's protests and gave Raí Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Trinca Ferro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Brodel to maneuver through the defense. S.E.R Corujão's Osmar Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Neiva's late challenge caught a S.E.R Corujão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Trinca Ferro's Benjamin Neiva got a free kick in the 80th minute. Benjamim de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Félix having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play Trinca Ferro's Benjamin Neiva was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Trinca Ferro getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Benjamin Neiva hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.E.R Corujão had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
