He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RedBull Sete Copas reached it. After a defensive mix-up in GRAMADENSSE's zone, Gara Sim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho da Mata came out of the goal and Gara Sim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walery Piczak kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, GRAMADENSSE's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Barral came free, but Marcinho da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Hermes in the 19th minute of play forced GRAMADENSSE's goalkeeper Marcinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, GRAMADENSSE's Maicon Guerrero got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Erasmo Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Hermes in the 34th minute of play forced GRAMADENSSE's goalkeeper Marcinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to GRAMADENSSE getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ian Barreto hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Patrick de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho da Mata. GRAMADENSSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gara Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot. RedBull Sete Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gara Sim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, RedBull Sete Copas's Ulu Sina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho da Mata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Patrick de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. RedBull Sete Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 played minutes RedBull Sete Copas got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Pires. Flávio Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Ian Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Denílson Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RedBull Sete Copas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gara Sim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RedBull Sete Copas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gara Sim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Patrick de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RedBull Sete Copas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GRAMADENSSE the free kick. GRAMADENSSE's Luís Fernando Urbano was substituted for Walery Piczak. After 87 minutes of play, GRAMADENSSE's Gláuber Cunha made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flávio Zonta was left in no man's land by his defense there! RedBull Sete Copas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
