With a left leg Adhemar Figueiredo saved GØRDÃØ TEAM from getting behind. João Augusto Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Figueiredo having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Peri EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. When Cássio do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GØRDÃØ TEAM's protests and gave Cássio do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Faria made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Petrică Mercescu sent off a good shot on target. Petrică Mercescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nestor Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
