A nice corner shot did that Iréné Reyna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfonso Taraborrelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfonso Taraborrelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Bruch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaanek Oese in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Blake prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes, Jaanek Oese made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Clube dos pro's Ricky Blake tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute of the match, Elmar Bruch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfonso Taraborrelli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ricky Blake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Madureira in the 33rd minute of the match. Ricky Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Édouard Deloge in the 34th minute of play. When Gernando de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOTAFOGO's protests and gave Gernando de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Gernando de Toledo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Elmar Bruch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube dos pro's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmar Bruch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Taraborrelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Clube dos pro booed when BOTAFOGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Clube dos pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iréné Reyna to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toninho Madureira made a kick off. Ricky Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaanek Oese in the 51st minute of play. After 56 minutes BOTAFOGO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iréné Reyna who took care of the corner kick. Iréné Reyna made a great header on Clube dos pro's corner, it was just that BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli managed to reach the ball for a save. Elmar Bruch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Taraborrelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Alfonso Taraborrelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elmar Bruch went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elmar Bruch in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 64th minute Iréné Reyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Taraborrelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Jaanek Oese mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOTAFOGO and the Clube dos pro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaanek Oese kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Iréné Reyna shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli to catch but Iréné Reyna was lucky. It became 3-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The supporters of BOTAFOGO booed when Clube dos pro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauan Melo got free with Ricky Blake in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toninho Madureira scored 3-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricky Blake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kauan Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Blake having to interfere. Gernando de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Iréné Reyna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Taraborrelli skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Clube dos pro's Léo de Souza got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Simão Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube dos pro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOTAFOGO the free kick. In the 94th minute, Kauan Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kauan Melo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the BOTAFOGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauan Melo couldn't finish the play. Clube dos pro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
