Marcelinho Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 45 minutes, Kauan Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragões de Campo Grande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauan Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

If Kauan Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 0-8 became the score in the 61st minute when Zé Paulo Trancoso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Gandalf Bilbo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelinho Antunes. The goal made the score 0-9. Kauan Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragões de Campo Grande's Osvaldo Miranda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristóvão Furtado in the 92 minute of the game. Zé Paulo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SANTOS FC- FDFDF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dragões de Campo Grande's performance. The match ended with a win for Dragões de Campo Grande.
