In the 5th minute of the match, Gonçalo Maia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ramiro do Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ramiro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Maia in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Tadeu Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro do Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Green Squad FC's Conrado Pernambucano in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independente Brasil's goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Independente Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Cosme came free, but Ramiro do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Maia in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro do Nascimento saved Independente Brasil from getting behind. Carlos Eduardo Alcântara's late challenge caught a Green Squad FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Eduardo Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Green Squad FC's Gonçalo Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Laerte Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Green Squad FC's Jessie Pinkman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Antunes got free with Ramiro do Nascimento in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Independente Brasil's Ciro Batista got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Tadeu Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Independente Brasil's Nildo Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro do Nascimento didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jessie Pinkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Independente Brasil getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tostão Montenegro hit a great ball. Tadeu Cosme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro do Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ramiro do Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Maia went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Ramiro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jessie Pinkman in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Rivas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 64 minutes, Tostão Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independente Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulisses Antunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro do Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulisses Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Independente Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Jessie Pinkman came free, but Ramiro do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Maia scored 7-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro do Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Independente Brasil getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tostão Montenegro hit a great ball. Ramiro do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gonçalo Maia struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ramiro do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Squad FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 78th minute of play forced Independente Brasil's goalkeeper Ramiro do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Tadeu Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Independente Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Maia came free, but Ramiro do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Green Squad FC got a corner. Independente Brasil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Green Squad FC's Taio Jauregui to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramiro do Nascimento despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Tadeu Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independente Brasil's Ramiro do Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Green Squad FC's Gonçalo Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Maia in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Conrado Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Squad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Conrado Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Squad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
