Independente Brasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARINUS MZC the free kick. A collision led to Independente Brasil getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eriberto Tavares hit a great ball. In the 5th minute Thiago Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Evaristo Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Mazza in the 11th minute of play forced Independente Brasil's goalkeeper Ramiro do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nildo Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evaristo Arósio. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Donato de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Silva came free, but Evaristo Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Daniel Munhoz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Independente Brasil's Ramiro do Nascimento. Ramiro do Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laerte Marquess short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Evaristo Arósio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Celso Mazza made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nildo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independente Brasil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Silva in the 57th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Independente Brasil's Nildo Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laerte Marques in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by MARINUS MZC's Donato de Souza. But to his dismay, Donato de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Alex Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Evaristo Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Silva in the 77th minute of the match. Ramiro do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thiago Ortiz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Nildo Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Arósio. MARINUS MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nildo Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Ramiro do Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato de Souza in the 86th minute. Ramiro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Mazza in the 93rd minute of play. The corner led MARINUS MZC's Valdo Guimarães to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramiro do Nascimento despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Independente Brasil were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MARINUS MZC for a fine match.
