In the 18th minute of the match Green Squad FC got a corner. S.C. Internacional RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches got control of the ball when Dinei Gøl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Green Squad FC's Ulisses Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinei Gøl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Gilvan Sanches when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martino Pozuelos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Green Squad FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Pernambucano in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Conrado Pernambucano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martino Pozuelos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinei Gøl in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilvan Sanches was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Remo Motta. Martino Pozuelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Dinei Gøl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, S.C. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Dinei Gøl put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gilvan Sanches. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when S.C. Internacional RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Palombi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Martino Pozuelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Green Squad FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
