Internacional RS got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Lara. In the 35thth minute of the game Roberto Romário who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Internacional RS's Martino Pozuelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Narciso Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Faustão de Moraes made a huge save.
