Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmond Boureau took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, S.C. Internacional RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Félix to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Ciseski‘s's Dé Recife shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martino Pozuelos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ciseski‘s reached it. Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Gøl in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmond Boureau in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martino Pozuelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ciseski‘s's Dé Recife got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 20 played minutes Ciseski‘s got a freekick which was hit by Yanniek Van Laeck. After a defensive mix-up in Ciseski‘s's zone, Narciso Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão de Moraes came out of the goal and Narciso Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, S.C. Internacional RS's Brasil Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Edmond Boureau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Martino Pozuelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Palombi in the 32nd minute of play. Faustão de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Palombi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Negri was the one to do the kick off. Brasil Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martino Pozuelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Romário in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goalkeeper Faustão de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Palombi. Faustão de Moraes was a little too slow when Dinei Gøl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-2. Dinei Gøl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Faustão de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Dario Palombi notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes. Faustão de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Boureau in the 67th minute of play forced S.C. Internacional RS's goalkeeper Martino Pozuelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Edmond Boureau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Pozuelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Gøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edmond Boureau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martino Pozuelos was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Brasil Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão de Moraes having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, S.C. Internacional RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brasil Brasil to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Boureau in the 84th minute of play forced S.C. Internacional RS's goalkeeper Martino Pozuelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Dé Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciseski‘s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Internacional RS the free kick. After 84 played minutes Ciseski‘s got a freekick which was hit by Dé Recife. In the 90th minute, Dinei Gøl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martino Pozuelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Boureau, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Oscar Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Faustão de Moraes managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when S.C. Internacional RS's Dario Palombi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Faustão de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Dario Palombi sent off a good shot on target. The S.C. Internacional RS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.C. Internacional RS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
