When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Çakabey Eroğul sped through SANTA LUZIA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Esteves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çakabey Eroğul in the 9th minute of play forced SANTA LUZIA's goalkeeper Wilson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carona's Celso de Toledo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Esteves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 11 played minutes SANTA LUZIA got a freekick which was hit by Charles da Cunha. When Carona's Çakabey Eroğul in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANTA LUZIA's goalie prevented a goal. Wilson Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Tróia in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Çakabey Eroğul made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SANTA LUZIA's Wilson Esteves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Caio Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Esteves. SANTA LUZIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Percival Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Carona. Celso de Toledo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilson Esteves. 0-4. In the 29th minute Marco Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carona's Çakabey Eroğul in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANTA LUZIA's goalie prevented a goal. The Carona fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Carona's Çakabey Eroğul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 minutes, Çakabey Eroğul made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. SANTA LUZIA's Wilson Esteves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakabey Eroğul in the 37th minute of the match. Marco Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Çakabey Eroğul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Juarês Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, SANTA LUZIA's goal looked a bit too open when Çakabey Eroğul came free, but Wilson Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Passos's late challenge caught a Carona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hortêncio Passos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carona booed when SANTA LUZIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joélson Salles to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, SANTA LUZIA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Çakabey Eroğul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Marco Tróia took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Wilson Esteves to make any attempt to save it. If Charles da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çakabey Eroğul got free with Wilson Esteves in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 61 minutes, Joélson Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTA LUZIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Esteves acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marco Tróia. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Çakabey Eroğul sped through SANTA LUZIA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Esteves. A hard shot 71 in the game by Çakabey Eroğul from a close distance when the talented Wilson Esteves managed to make a qualified save. SANTA LUZIA's players were relieved. In the 73rd minute, Juarês Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes SANTA LUZIA got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Rosado. SANTA LUZIA's Wilson Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakabey Eroğul in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Juarês Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes SANTA LUZIA got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Paraense. In the 82nd minute Celso de Toledo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Çakabey Eroğul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The SANTA LUZIA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
