Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ştefan Arghiroiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Fellipe Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Cruz having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Fellipe Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Cruz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Cipriano Fresco sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Marumby were awarded a corner. Ademir Tinoco went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Pedrinho Seco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Climax FC's Abel Jacinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inácio Cruz. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Cipriano Fresco made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Cruz. Marumby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Arghiroiu in the 47th minute of play forced Marumby's goalkeeper Inácio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Remigio Claus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Queirós in the 52nd minute. After 60 played minutes Marumby got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinant Pierewaaijer. Marumby's 邱朋朗 was substituted for Pedrinho Seco. After a rather tough play, Marumby's Witalis Falk got a free kick in the 68th minute. Inácio Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Arghiroiu in the 69th minute of play. Fellipe Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Ezequiel Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademir Tinoco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Climax FC booed when Marumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinant Pierewaaijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ştefan Arghiroiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Inácio Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinant Pierewaaijer in the 92nd minute of play forced Climax FC's goalkeeper Remigio Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Arghiroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Climax FC were the better team. Climax FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
