A collision led to Muçum FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oséas Martins hit a great ball. If Adriano Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Muçum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Paraíba came free, but Dadá Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xapetuba Futebol Clube. Tiaguinho da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Tiaguinho da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Koehler in the 30th minute of play. Dadá Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ronaldinho Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muçum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Dé Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Rodrigues took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Hermes. Dadá Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Dadá Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Neiva took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Hermes. Dadá Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Patrick Neiva sped through Muçum FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dadá Hermes. Patrick Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Xapetuba Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Muçum FC.
