An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Yang Gang in the 12th minute of play forced Kataloko FC's goalkeeper Jose Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Yang Gang in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Urritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Yang Gang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kataloko FC's Jose Urritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Yang Gang in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Shi Yang Gang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FS Baile De Monique fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 34 played minutes FS Baile De Monique got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Chaves. In the 39th minute Gugu Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcisio Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes FS Baile De Monique got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Schmidt. Mané Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Camargo in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Kataloko FC defense, Gugu Maranhense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Urritz. The Kataloko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Urritz should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Yang Gang made a kick off. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kataloko FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernandinho Schmidt was slow to take the kick. During this time FS Baile De Monique's players had a chance to rest. Gugu Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Urritz having to interfere. Mané Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Shi Yang Gang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Urritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Gugu Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jose Urritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, FS Baile De Monique's Shi Yang Gang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Urritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Edgar Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Brasil having to interfere. The supporters of Kataloko FC booed when FS Baile De Monique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shi Yang Gang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Urritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Yang Gang in the 84th minute of the match. Jose Urritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Maranhense in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Kataloko FC's Percival Rossi got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gugu Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes of play, FS Baile De Monique's Shi Yang Gang made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Urritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gugu Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jose Urritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Gugu Maranhense made a precise shot to the right of Jose Urritz. Kataloko FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The FS Baile De Monique supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FS Baile De Monique would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
