After a defensive mix-up in Jampa Boys's zone, Ricardo Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Loureiro came out of the goal and Ricardo Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Fenix Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jampa Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenix Futebol Clube the free kick. After 29 played minutes Jampa Boys got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Cerezo. 31 minutes in the game Joel Martins after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Manuel Loureiro. A very good opportunity. 32 minutes into the match, Jampa Boys's goalkeeper Manuel Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Jacinto. If Reynaldo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Jacinto got free with Manuel Loureiro in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jampa Boys's Manuel Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Sá in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Sá in the 45th minute of play forced Jampa Boys's goalkeeper Manuel Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovânio Pereira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Diogo Sá made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jampa Boys's Manuel Loureiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute Reynaldo Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Danilo Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reynaldo Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Loureiro having to interfere. Mário Schmidt hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Diogo Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diogo Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. Diogo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute, Reynaldo Jacinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. If Reynaldo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Reynaldo Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Loureiro. Jampa Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. The supporters of Fenix Futebol Clube booed when Jampa Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Reynaldo Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenix Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. When Reynaldo Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Fenix Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Diogo Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Jacinto scored 12-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Fenix Futebol Clube were the better team. Fenix Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
