The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerson Montenegro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gerson Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campestre AC's protests and gave Gerson Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Campestre AC got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Montenegro. In the 82nd match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Ceresso scored 5-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christiano Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
