With a little luck, Fenix Futebol Clube's Reynaldo Cardozo got control of the ball when Teodoro Totakoxe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fenix Futebol Clube's Reynaldo Cardozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Fenix Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Totakoxe's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Sá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fenix Futebol Clube's Reynaldo Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Stinson in the 57th minute of play. Reynaldo Jacinto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 59th playminute. In the 62nd match minute, Fenix Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Vitoria da conquista's Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Vitoria da conquista from getting a goal against them. If Barney Stinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Fenix Futebol Clube's Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diogo Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led Fenix Futebol Clube's Joel Martins to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Reynaldo Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Mário Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Reynaldo Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenix Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Jacinto in the 87th minute. Barney Stinson might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Cardozo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barney Stinson ran back to his position shaking his head. When Humberto Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitoria da conquista's protests and gave Humberto Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Vitoria da conquista got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Antunes. In the 95th minute Diogo Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fenix Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
