After having played for 4 minutes, Simen Askvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitoria da conquista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simen Askvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Britto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Araraquara SS booed when Vitoria da conquista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Araraquara SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Eduardo Velasco in the 19th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Carlos Eduardo Velasco sped through Vitoria da conquista's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer. In the 29th minute Edinho Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the game, Nilmar Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erivaldo Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simen Askvik in the 40th minute of the match. Araraquara SS's attentive Eliseu Figueiredo managed to snatch the ball when Pedro Luiz Mangueira made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Araraquara SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Barney Stinson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Araraquara SS's Nilmar Dracena. But to his dismay, Nilmar Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo Velasco to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Teodoro Totakoxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simen Askvik charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simen Askvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Vitoria da conquista got a freekick which was hit by Simen Askvik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simen Askvik in the 61st minute of play forced Araraquara SS's goalkeeper Erivaldo Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Simen Askvik led 61 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Araraquara SS's Erivaldo Nogueira became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-4. 63 minutes into the match, Simen Askvik notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Araraquara SS's Erivaldo Nogueira. Erivaldo Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Eduardo Velasco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Velasco took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer to make any attempt to save it. Carlos Eduardo Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Eduardo Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 3-6 in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute Carlos Eduardo Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Vitoria da conquista got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Lara. João Carlos Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Vitoria da conquista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Carlos Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, João Carlos Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Totakoxe charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Totakoxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Araraquara SS got a freekick which was hit by Márton Tolnai. 90 minutes into the match, Vitoria da conquista's Simen Askvik broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Maximilian-Michael Feldhofer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Simen Askvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Erivaldo Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Araraquara SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
