With his leg Ruy Pinho managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Esperança FC's Luís de Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andrea Branca struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Fabiano Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Germano Paulista. If Luís de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís de Moraes in the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the São Germano Paulista defense, Andrézinho das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Pinho. The São Germano Paulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Pinho should have stopped the shot. São Germano Paulista's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bai Xu Bang in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on São Germano Paulista's corner Bai Xu Bang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabiano Saldanha quite easily take care of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Andrézinho das Neves took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Pinho. Ruy Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Ruy Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho das Neves in the 91st minute of the match. Deivid Teles's late challenge caught a São Germano Paulista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Teles helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Esperança FC got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Teles. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Backhaus during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Esperança FC booed when São Germano Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Backhaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esperança FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
