Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís de Moraes took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Luís de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luiz Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luizinho Lopez hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lisieh getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luizinho Lopez hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Esperança FC's Adilson de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luiz Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Adilson de Alcântara notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lisieh's Sílvio Luiz Santana. Sílvio Luiz Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Esperança FC's Luís de Moraes in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lisieh's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lisieh's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adilson de Alcântara was slow to take the kick. During this time Esperança FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Esperança FC's Adilson de Alcântara to fire away a dangerous shot which Sílvio Luiz Santana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís de Moraes in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Luiz Santana saved Lisieh from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Lisieh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Lopez to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lisieh defense, Luís de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Luiz Santana. The Lisieh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Luiz Santana should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Lisieh's goal looked a bit too open when Luís de Moraes came free, but Sílvio Luiz Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Esperança FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bastian Røyrvik hit a great ball. A hard shot by Cleiton Amaral from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Fabiano Saldanha's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luís de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Luiz Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Luís de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lisieh's Sílvio Luiz Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sílvio Luiz Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís de Moraes in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Esperança FC got a corner. Lisieh's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adilson de Alcântara ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lisieh's Sílvio Luiz Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís de Moraes in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer Viana got free with Fabiano Saldanha in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrézinho das Neves took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luiz Santana. Sílvio Luiz Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 45th minute, Luís de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esperança FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gláuber Vaz made a kick off. When Luís de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Esperança FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís de Moraes couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luiz Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Esperança FC's Luís de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luiz Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Esperança FC's Andrézinho das Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luiz Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Vaz in the 68th minute of play forced Esperança FC's goalkeeper Fabiano Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Adilson de Alcântara from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Sílvio Luiz Santana's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sílvio Luiz Santana was a little too slow when Luís de Moraes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-9. Luís de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luiz Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Lisieh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Luís de Moraes scored to the left of an out of position Sílvio Luiz Santana, making the score, 0-11. If Luís de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. From a short distance, Esperança FC's Andrézinho das Neves, in the 84th minute, tried to place the ball behind Sílvio Luiz Santana, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. 85 minutes into the match, Lisieh's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís de Moraes. When Esperança FC's Luís de Moraes in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lisieh's goalie prevented a goal. Andrézinho das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sílvio Luiz Santana made a huge save. After 91 played minutes Esperança FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Macedo. Lisieh's Eliézer Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sílvio Luiz Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Esperança FC played a much better game than Lisieh and deserved their victory. The Lisieh players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
