Belmiro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Munhoz having to interfere. Severino Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Tasso in the 17th minute of play. Percival Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Örtendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Munhoz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Örtendahl in the 22nd minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Percival Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Malte Örtendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Belmiro Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breno Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Severino Vergílio made a huge save. Breno Tasso made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 30thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Severino Vergílio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 35th minute Belmiro Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Costa. When Belmiro Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Estação F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Figueiredo came free, but Percival Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Percival Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Figueiredo in the 42nd minute of the match. José Pedro Vides's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Severino Vergílio firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Estação F.C's Nicanor Gorosti got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Nicanor Gorosti fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estação F.C's protests and gave Nicanor Gorosti a yellow card for diving instead. Estação F.C's Severino Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Tasso in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Breno Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Severino Vergílio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malte Örtendahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Belmiro Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Estação F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malte Örtendahl got free with Percival Munhoz in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Estação F.C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mauro Carneiro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Percival Munhoz got control of the ball when Malte Örtendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estação F.C were furious when Alex Gomes was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 66th play minute Belmiro Figueiredo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Percival Munhoz. 1-1. Eliseu Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Eliseu Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estação F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percival Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Cabral in the 86th minute of the match. Percival Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Estação F.C's Percival Munhoz threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseu Cabral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Diogo de Carvalho hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Costa. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Estação F.C players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
