Severino Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adilson de Alcântara in the 76th minute. Estação F.C's Eliseu Cabral was substituted for Belmiro Figueiredo. 88 minutes into the match, Esperança FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Couto came free, but Fabiano Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
