In the 2nd match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Lara to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Válbson Fernandes could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which José Vítor Netto however easily saved by the left post. In the 4th minute of the match Tabajara Londrina LBFC got a corner. Botafogo MZRJ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvio Gallo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Silvio Gallo to fire away a dangerous shot which José Vítor Netto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Artur Arósio made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Botafogo MZRJ's Juvenal Camargo. 10 minutes into the game, Gilmar Couto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan Arantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gilmar Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Botafogo MZRJ's attentive Juvenal Camargo managed to snatch the ball when Melquiades Maiorga made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Jailson Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Botafogo MZRJ's attentive Juvenal Camargo managed to snatch the ball when Melquiades Maiorga made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Gilmar Couto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Juan Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson Capixaba went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. José Vítor Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válbson Fernandes went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Juan Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Couto in the 42nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Gilmar Couto sped through Tabajara Londrina LBFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Arantes. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilmar Couto was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Jailson Capixaba fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juan Arantes having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the game Melquiades Maiorga made a throw-in which Artur Arósio played forward. Juan Arantes stood somewhat misplaced when Gilmar Couto came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 59 minute. 64 minutes into the match, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalkeeper Juan Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serginho Azevedo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Maiorga during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Botafogo MZRJ booed when Tabajara Londrina LBFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match, Antônio Lopez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juan Arantes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 88 minutes into the match, Gilmar Couto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Arantes, 1-8. In the 91st minute Gilmar Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Arantes having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Gilmar Couto made it 1-9 with a short kick to the right side. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Juan Arantes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
