The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Doug Zappa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of VR. GARARU booed when Doug Zappa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, VR. GARARU's Sidney Simões got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Jonas Domingues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Cobo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Frank Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doug Zappa F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After having played for 97 minutes, Jonas Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doug Zappa F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doug Zappa F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
