In the 6thth minute of the game Walmir Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool FC's Durvalino Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Waldemar Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Predador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Denílson de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durvalino Matorin in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Marquez in the 15th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Durvalino Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Moraes. 18 minutes into the match, Predador's Ulisses Vaz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 20 minutes in the game, Waldemar Cardozo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Moisés Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Durvalino Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool FC's Durvalino Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Neiva in the 25th minute of play. Durvalino Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Predador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Gonçalves in the 35th minute of the match. Waldemar Cardozo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Teofil Domalik kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Waldemar Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durvalino Paraense having to make a save. Durvalino Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Cardozo in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Waldemar Cardozo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Durvalino Paraense. Waldemar Cardozo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 58th minute Durvalino Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Predador's Moisés Marquez made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durvalino Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Durvalino Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Cardozo. In the 66th match minute, Predador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Durvalino Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Marquez in the 68th minute of the match. Durvalino Paraense made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Waldemar Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. Raí Furtado hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Neiva in the 73rd minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Durvalino Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Predador's Moisés Marquez made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denílson de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Matorin in the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Moisés Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durvalino Paraense. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durvalino Paraense should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Kuszczak came free, but Durvalino Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Marquez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 88th playminute. Predador played a much better game than Liverpool FC and deserved their victory. The Liverpool FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
