Jonas Domingues went to the cornerflag to take it. Iwan Kolbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Furtado in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Doug Zappa F.C.'s zone, Raí Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Kolbe came out of the goal and Raí Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwan Kolbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Jonas Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Durvalino Paraense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raí Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Kolbe having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Raí Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doug Zappa F.C.'s Iwan Kolbe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durvalino Paraense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. Durvalino Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Siqueira in the 31st minute of the match. If Frank Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Siqueira in the 39th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Durvalino Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Siqueira came free, but Durvalino Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ronaldão Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Doug Zappa F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Frank Siqueira made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Frank Siqueira made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Liverpool FC's Durvalino Paraense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Durvalino Paraense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Domingues showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. Frank Siqueira's late challenge caught a Liverpool FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Doug Zappa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Domingues came free, but Durvalino Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liverpool FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Domingues was slow to take the kick. During this time Doug Zappa F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Liverpool FC's goalie and right to Adriano Soeiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Liverpool FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Frank Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durvalino Paraense having to make a save. 72 minutes into the game, Doug Zappa F.C.'s Frank Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durvalino Paraense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jonas Domingues scored 0-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durvalino Paraense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarbas Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Durvalino Paraense made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Frank Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Jonas Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durvalino Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Daniel Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwan Kolbe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Penha ran back to his position shaking his head.
