The wind increased when Efraín Bacete made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alexandre Vides made a precise shot to the right of Wambasther Taffarel. Phoenix FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 55th minute, Michal Pazdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phoenix FC's Wambasther Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efraín Bacete in the 58th minute of play. Frutal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wambasther Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 minutes of play, Frutal FC's Dráuzio Paraíba made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wambasther Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Phoenix FC's Wambasther Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Paraíba in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Efraín Bacete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wambasther Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Alexandre Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wambasther Taffarel. Phoenix FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 92nd minute, Efraín Bacete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frutal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
