To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Phoenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Moreno came free, but Wambasther Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wambasther Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Freire in the 26th minute of play. Wambasther Taffarel came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Lidice's Erik Cruz. But to his dismay, Erik Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Phoenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cruz came free, but Wambasther Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Erik Cruz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wambasther Taffarel. The goal made the score 0-3. 55 minutes into the match, Erik Cruz notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Phoenix FC's Wambasther Taffarel. Wambasther Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Wambasther Taffarel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gilvan Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Battaglia during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Phoenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Battaglia. In the 75th minute, Sebastian Battaglia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Carlos Moreno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wambasther Taffarel came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Carlos Moreno slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute. The supporters of Lidice booed when Phoenix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. 刘冰弘 didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gilvan Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Michal Pazdan fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix FC's protests and gave Michal Pazdan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Phoenix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Pazdan to maneuver through the defense.
