Michal Pazdan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Pascual Bertin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wambasther Taffarel was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Wambasther Taffarel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chaves do 8 FC's Eliézer Negri shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 23 minutes into the game, Chaves do 8 FC's Pascual Bertin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wambasther Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Fabricio Quiroga sent off a good shot on target. Wambasther Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Bertin's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Phoenix FC's Wambasther Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Bertin in the 57th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Anísio Queirós heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Goiano in the 96th minute of play forced Phoenix FC's goalkeeper Wambasther Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaves do 8 FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
