In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Corinthians's goalkeeper Genílson Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Horacio Sayveon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genílson Mendonça. Genílson Mendonça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Sayveon in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, SC Corinthians's Genílson Mendonça got control of the ball when Vítor Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomás Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomás Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Horacio Sayveon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Corinthians's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Horacio Sayveon scored to the left of an out of position Genílson Mendonça, making the score, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Sayveon in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Mendonça saved SC Corinthians from getting behind. Vítor Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Genílson Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Corinthians defense, Horacio Sayveon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genílson Mendonça. The SC Corinthians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genílson Mendonça should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Genílson Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gláuber Brasil hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's zone, Dito Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Brasil came out of the goal and Dito Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Galip Özbekkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Vítor Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Horacio Sayveon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Galip Özbekkan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thomás Santana, made in the 69th minute of the game. SC Corinthians's Genílson Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Sayveon in the 69th minute of play. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after SC Corinthians's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serginho Amorim took the corner. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Serginho Amorim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genílson Mendonça in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Horacio Sayveon came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Sayveon couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Thomás Santana in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Vítor Vieira. Genílson Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 75th minute of the match. SC Corinthians's Genílson Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Vieira in the 82nd minute of play. Horacio Sayveon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genílson Mendonça having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Sayveon in the 86th minute of play forced SC Corinthians's goalkeeper Genílson Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Vinicio Balasi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Horacio Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Mendonça having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Horacio Sayveon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Mendonça. SC Corinthians's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Sayveon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0.
