SC Corinthians's Dito Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kajar Aibast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Genílson Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Corinthians's goalkeeper Genílson Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Blink Forever FC's João Pedro Donatello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genílson Mendonça. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. João Pedro Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Kajar Aibast ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genílson Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Kajar Aibast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Genílson Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, SC Corinthians's goalkeeper Genílson Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kajar Aibast. Genílson Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajar Aibast went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute João Pedro Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Corinthians's goalkeeper Genílson Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro Donatello to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, SC Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Kajar Aibast came free, but Genílson Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajar Aibast recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, João Pedro Donatello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Mendonça. SC Corinthians's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Donatello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Kajar Aibast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajar Aibast in the 65th minute of play forced SC Corinthians's goalkeeper Genílson Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Blink Forever FC's Kajar Aibast nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Genílson Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evandro Gaúcho went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Oséias Mello's late challenge caught a SC Corinthians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséias Mello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Oséias Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute João Pedro Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Donatello in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genílson Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Donatello in the 83rd minute of the match. Genílson Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro Donatello's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Blink Forever FC had played much better football throughout.
