The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zula Marciewicz in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Hamílton Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Marciewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Templários MZC got a corner. Ligeiro F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antônio Carlos Fernandes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in 姜浩松 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves did a great save. Laze Gjoka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Ramalho in the 17th minute. Elói Barreto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Roger Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Marciewicz came free, but Hamílton Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelino Ramalho to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Templários MZC defense, Elói Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laze Gjoka. The Templários MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laze Gjoka should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Frank Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laze Gjoka. Templários MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Roger Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templários MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamílton Chaves stood somewhat misplaced when Roger Guedes came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 63 minute. Templários MZC's Noel Furlan was substituted for Roger Guedes. Templários MZC's Fernandão Pires was substituted for Zé da Silva. After taking down the ball on Templários MZC's corner Antônio Carlos Fernandes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hamílton Chaves quite easily take care of the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hamílton Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Furlan in the 73rd minute of the match. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Furlan in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Ligeiro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Amorim to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Furlan in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamílton Chaves saved Ligeiro F.C from getting behind. Noel Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Zula Marciewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamílton Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Marciewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zula Marciewicz. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
