The Helmet Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Dantas should have stopped the shot. Tiago Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Marques in the 19th minute of the match. Délio Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ismael Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Dantas was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Helmet Football Club's Tiago Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Marques in the 37th minute of play. Tiago Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo José Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Goiano in the 42nd minute of play forced Helmet Football Club's goalkeeper Tiago Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Duarte Goiano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Helmet Football Club's Tiago Dantas. Tiago Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 46 minutes, Jefferson Davila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helmet Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Davila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But to his dismay, Paulo José Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The Helmet Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Canelada Sport were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Marques was the one to do the kick off. Helmet Football Club's Tiago Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Marques in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Helmet Football Club's zone, Alexandre Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Dantas came out of the goal and Alexandre Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Alexandre Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Canelada Sport fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 66 minutes into the game, Duarte Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Tiago Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nico de Salles lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 69th match minute, Helmet Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico de Salles to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute David Arce managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Helmet Football Club's zone, Paulo José Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Dantas came out of the goal and Paulo José Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Alexandre Marques made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Dantas. Helmet Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9.
