Dieguinho Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Abraão having to interfere. Osvaldo Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Empate Esporte Clube defense, Thiago Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Abraão. The Empate Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Abraão should have stopped the shot. Frédson Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The Ebla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The wind increased when Dieguinho Tavares made the kick off in the second half. Dieguinho Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Empate Esporte Clube's zone, Thiago Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, Empate Esporte Clube's Rúben Dias got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Ebla FC's Thiago Paraense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Richard Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldo Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Paraense in the 71st minute of play. Dieguinho Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Abraão made a huge save. Thiago Paraense was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Ebla FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 80th minute, Dieguinho Tavares fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wilian Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Empate Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Tavares came free, but Osvaldo Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Marco Hargart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguinho Tavares got free with Osvaldo Abraão in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Empate Esporte Clube's Osvaldo Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Saldanha in the 93rd minute of play. Ebla FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
