After a rather tough play, BECO DA CURUJA's Inácio Vergílio got a free kick in the 5th minute. 毛明昆 might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Sariyski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 毛明昆 ran back to his position shaking his head. Viktor Sariyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 毛明昆 in the 10th minute of the match. 毛明昆's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Sariyski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The throw-in from Inácio Vergílio in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Proteu's Hílton Vasconcelos. Proteu were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after BECO DA CURUJA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naci Kıncal took the corner. The Proteu fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Proteu's Qu Wei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Inácio Vergílio made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Proteu's Naci Kıncal. 28 minutes into the game, Inácio Vergílio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Proteu's Tercero Segundo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 29 minutes into the match, Proteu's 毛明昆 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Sariyski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 毛明昆 in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Sariyski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viktor Sariyski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Proteu's 毛明昆 shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 36th minute, Qu Wei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Proteu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Proteu's supporters rose to their feet, but 毛明昆 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Sariyski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 毛明昆 took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Sariyski. Viktor Sariyski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Cordeiro made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Archie Ares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viktor Sariyski. The goal made the score 0-5. 毛明昆's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Sariyski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Proteu got a corner. BECO DA CURUJA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naci Kıncal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Naci Kıncal made a great header on Proteu's corner, it was just that BECO DA CURUJA's Viktor Sariyski managed to reach the ball for a save. 毛明昆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qu Wei got free with Viktor Sariyski in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 毛明昆 in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Sariyski saved BECO DA CURUJA from getting behind. 毛明昆 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Sariyski having to make a save. If 毛明昆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. BECO DA CURUJA's Viktor Sariyski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save BECO DA CURUJA from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, BECO DA CURUJA's Viktor Sariyski got control of the ball when 毛明昆 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Qu Wei took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Sariyski. Viktor Sariyski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as 毛明昆 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viktor Sariyski. That made the score 0-7 in the 77 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Proteu's 毛明昆 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. 毛明昆 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Sariyski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 毛明昆's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the match, Proteu's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Madureira came free, but Edvin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Proteu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
