The supporters of ITAMARATY booed when AC Korban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the AC Korban defense, Leonel Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Vinhas. The AC Korban fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Vinhas should have stopped the shot. Doni Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Silvinho da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Korban's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ITAMARATY the free kick. In the 16th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Doni Rezende who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Vladimír Veleta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sílvio Luiz Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimír Veleta having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz Linhares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vladimír Veleta. Sílvio Luiz Linhares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 29 minutes into the game, Virgílio Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 37th minute, Virgílio Domingues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAMARATY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After taking down the ball on ITAMARATY's corner Germano Vander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodoro Vinhas quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ITAMARATY's zone, Silvinho da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimír Veleta came out of the goal and Silvinho da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Pires took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodoro Vinhas. AC Korban's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Igor Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Domingues in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Silvinho da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Veleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, ITAMARATY's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho da Silveira came free, but Vladimír Veleta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisinho de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Teodoro Vinhas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Madureira in the 67th minute of play forced AC Korban's goalkeeper Teodoro Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Sílvio Luiz Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Domingues in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Vinhas saved AC Korban from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Domingues came free, but Teodoro Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonel Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the ITAMARATY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Madureira couldn't finish the play. Leonel Madureiras short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Teodoro Vinhas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, ITAMARATY's Juvenal de Sousa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. ITAMARATY's Vladimír Veleta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Linhares in the 85th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, ITAMARATY's Leonel Madureira made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonel Madureira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teodoro Vinhas came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Madureira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see AC Korban lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
