In the 23rd minute, Alois Cambuquira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Ezequiel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabinho de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Andrade in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Nico Paiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Augusto Pinho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 35 minutes into the game, Nico Paiva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Augusto Pinho. Nico Paiva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 1-5 became the score in the 37th minute when Ezequiel Andrade elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match, Walmir Furlan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Augusto Pinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Seco made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, E.C CFM's goalkeeper Fabinho de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Seco. Silas Batista's late challenge caught a Manituba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silas Batista helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to E.C CFM getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Silas Batista hit a great ball. If Ezequiel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the E.C CFM defense, Cristóvão Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabinho de Sousa. The E.C CFM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabinho de Sousa should have stopped the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Ezequiel Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manituba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. E.C CFM's Fabinho de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save E.C CFM from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, E.C CFM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alois Cambuquira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. E.C CFM's Fabinho de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Batista in the 71st minute of play. Fabinho de Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Seco went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Manituba's Kosin Setiamiharja was substituted for Caco Batista. Manituba made a substitution. Alfredão Meirelles replaced Cristóvão Seco. Fabinho de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Alfredão Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. Alfredão Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Fabinho de Sousa made a huge save. After having played for 86 minutes, Ezequiel Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manituba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alfredão Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manituba's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabinho de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredão Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Andrade dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabinho de Sousa, 1-10. When the final whistle sounded Manituba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than E.C CFM.
