Décio Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Moreno in the 18th minute of the match. FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Soto in the 25th minute of play. Erwin Soto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Damian Fetor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bengt Bouchard managed to get in a good position for a shot. FÊNIX F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Bouchard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 played minutes Caveira F.C got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Novaes. FÊNIX F.C.'s Marquinhos Teixeira took a good shot, in the 36th minute, which hit the crossbar above Décio Rezende's head, and flew over the goal. Caveira F.C's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FÊNIX F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 42nd minute of play forced Caveira F.C's goalkeeper Décio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caveira F.C's Conrado do Valle got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Erwin Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caveira F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwin Soto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FÊNIX F.C.'s zone, Sílvio Luiz Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Fetor came out of the goal and Sílvio Luiz Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd minute, Bengt Bouchard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Moreno in the 58th minute of play forced Caveira F.C's goalkeeper Décio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauã Moreno in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Décio Rezende, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Damian Fetor came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Caveira F.C's Erwin Soto. But to his dismay, Erwin Soto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 68 played minutes Caveira F.C got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Salles. Décio Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Teixeira in the 69th minute of play. FÊNIX F.C.'s Bengt Bouchard got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FÊNIX F.C.'s Genílson Ferraz was substituted for João Carlos Medeiros. Genílson Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Marquinhos Teixeira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Décio Rezende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jailson Favoretto hit a great ball. Décio Rezende was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilberto Leite showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. Damian Fetor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwin Soto went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Décio Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 94th minute. Despite being the better team, FÊNIX F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
