Spectators: 7707 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) E.C CFM's Walmir Furlan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Fabinho de Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Caravelas FC's Dráuzio Loureiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th minute, Caravelas FC's Dráuzio Loureiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Dráuzio Loureiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabinho de Sousa. The goal made the score 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Jailson Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C CFM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caravelas FC the free kick. A collision led to E.C CFM getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jailson Carioca hit a great ball. If Dráuzio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráuzio Loureiro scored 3-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabinho de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, E.C CFM's Leopoldo Carneiro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Alex de Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabinho de Sousa. Alex de Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 30th minute, Dráuzio Loureiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caravelas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex de Alcântara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabinho de Sousa. That made the score 7-0 in the 33 minute of play. Fabinho de Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráuzio Loureiro went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Dráuzio Loureiro made a precise shot to the right of Fabinho de Sousa. E.C CFM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 44 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Fabinho de Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

Dráuzio Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabinho de Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 51 minutes into the match, E.C CFM's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Loureiro came free, but Fabinho de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráuzio Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Arturo Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E.C CFM's Jailson Carioca got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Jailson Carioca off the ground. In the 59th minute, Jailson Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in E.C CFM's zone, Dráuzio Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabinho de Sousa came out of the goal and Dráuzio Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Fabinho de Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th match minute, E.C CFM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Alex de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabinho de Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Dário Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dário Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, E.C CFM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Loureiro in the 71st minute of play. If Dráuzio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabinho de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Caravelas FC's Dráuzio Loureiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabinho de Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabinho de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, Dráuzio Loureiro made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. E.C CFM's Fabinho de Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Alex de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Fabinho de Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Caravelas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
