Adriano Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Brereton's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Benjamin Brereton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JupiterGT's Adriano Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Benjamin Brereton sped through JupiterGT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriano Lago. In the 20th minute Benjamin Brereton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Brereton in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Lago saved JupiterGT from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Waldir Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half A. A. SAQUAREMA were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Laércio Mazza made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Falcão Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Brereton got free with Adriano Lago in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Dedé Salles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adriano Lago came out and tried to block the shot, but Dedé Salles slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 63rd minute. Adriano Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Brereton in the 73rd minute. Adriano Lago made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Dedé Salles sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Brereton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Lago was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After having played for 89 minutes, Valdo Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. A. SAQUAREMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Dracena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Waldir Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. A. A. SAQUAREMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute of the match Celso Massa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelinho Quadros skillfully saved the ball. A. A. SAQUAREMA played a much better game than JupiterGT and deserved their victory. The JupiterGT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
