Ruben Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Mazza in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Wesley Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fogo Quente's Ruben Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Mazza in the 25th minute of play. After 30 minutes JupiterGT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Dionísio who took care of the corner kick. Leonel Ellande made a great header on Fogo Quente's corner, it was just that JupiterGT's Adriano Lago managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Dionísio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Lago saved JupiterGT from getting behind. Ruben Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Godoi in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Claudinei Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Sandalio. Fogo Quente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. When Juvenal Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JupiterGT's protests and gave Juvenal Jacinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, one of JupiterGT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JupiterGT. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Fogo Quente. Pedro Dionísio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adriano Lago. 2-1. Laércio Mazzas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Ruben Sandalio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd minute, Falcão Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laércio Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruben Sandalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laércio Mazza in the 95th minute.
