SAQUAREMA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valdo Dracena had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of A. A. SAQUAREMA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of zelene:s goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Brereton was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Arruda in the 54th minute of play forced A. A. SAQUAREMA's goalkeeper Marcelinho Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Walmir Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when A. A. SAQUAREMA's Benjamin Brereton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Benjamin Brereton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but zelene's Walmir Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelinho Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedé Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Benjamin Brereton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arne Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Santos having to interfere. Benjamin Brereton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Valdomiro Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Breretons short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Walmir Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 94 in the game by Benjamin Brereton from a close distance when the talented Walmir Santos managed to make a qualified save. zelene's players were relieved.
