After 14 played minutes Fogo Quente got a freekick which was hit by Allan Delon. When Gustavino Gómez fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LRCA Office Club's protests and gave Gustavino Gómez a yellow card for diving instead. Fogo Quente made a substitution. Zé Paulo Meireles replaced Hugo Alagoano. Slawomir Czerwinski was a little too slow when Pedro Dionísio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. After some careless play in the Fogo Quente defense, Domingo Patrido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Nóbrega. The Fogo Quente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. Pedro Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toke Chute in the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Pedro Dionísio took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Slawomir Czerwinski to make any attempt to save it. When Domingo Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the LRCA Office Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Patrido couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Fogo Quente booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Delon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 85th match minute, LRCA Office Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes LRCA Office Club got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Vasconcelos. 87 minutes into the match, 胡洋建 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slawomir Czerwinski. LRCA Office Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 胡洋建 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. The referee ignored Fogo Quente's protests and gave Zé Paulo Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LRCA Office Club booed when Fogo Quente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. LRCA Office Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
